Refund Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026.
The short version
MyPayGate never holds your money — payments go directly from buyer to seller through services like PayPal or Wise. That means we cannot issue refunds: refunds are always between the buyer and the seller, handled through the payment service used.
For buyers
- Contact the seller first — their contact is on the payment page you bought from.
- If you cannot resolve it, use the buyer-protection process of your payment service (e.g. PayPal disputes), where available for your transaction type.
- Digital content that has been delivered and unlocked is generally exempt from withdrawal rights under EU consumer law (Art. 16(m) Consumer Rights Directive) where you consented to immediate delivery.
For sellers
- You decide your own refund terms — state them clearly on your payment pages.
- If you refund a payment, mark the order as disputed in your dashboard so your records stay accurate.
Your MyPayGate subscription
Our subscription fees are billed by Stripe and are entirely separate from any payment between you and your buyers. You can cancel anytime via the billing portal in your dashboard; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Your statutory rights remain unaffected — contact us via the address in the Imprint.
Chargebacks and reversals
A verified confirmation does not prevent later reversals by the payment provider. Sellers bear this risk, as with any direct payment.
This policy is provided in multiple languages for convenience. In case of discrepancies, the English version prevails.
